Rear Mechs, also known as the rear derailleur or rear gear, are there to move the chain across the sprockets at the back of your bike. The rear mech must be paired with it's compatible gear levers to give you the best possible gear change. We have rear mechs with different length pulley wheel cages to suit bikes with different styles of drive train such as double, triple and compact.
